OK, I'm a burger fan; I can't afford the calories very often, but for a treat they're hard to beat. . And yes, I like Jucy's. But a client and friend who does a lot of lawns in the Bullard area (Green Acres Lawn Service) recently turned me on to the Hondo Burger (Hondo & Shorty's 51397 Hwy 69 S Bullard 75757 903.8947110...south of FM 344 on the west side of US 69). Clean, nice people, fresh ingredients, hard to beat.
They also serve a heckuva burger at Clear Springs, (6519 S Broadway Tyler 75703 903.561.0700 just south of Grande on the west side) and their onion rings are special. (I know they're a seafood joint but and their catfish is great, but the burger is right up there, too.)
I got a Tweet recently about a new place, Smashburger, opening soo. Dunno where or when but I'll keep you posted.
